The disconnect between knowing… and finally trusting yourself enough to act.
Most people already know what they need to do.
That’s the crazy part.
They know the relationship feels off.
They know the business is draining them.
They know the partnership isn’t aligned.
But they stay.
Not because they don’t know.
Because they don’t trust themselves enough to move.
The Signal Is Quiet
There were moments in business where my intuition was screaming long before my mind caught up
Deals that looked incredible on paper but felt wrong in my body.
Partnerships where everybody around me was excited… while something inside me kept tightening.
I ignored it anyway.
Why?
Because external validation is loud.
Money is loud.
Opportunity is loud.
Fear is loud.
Status is loud.
Your signal usually isn’t.
It’s subtle.
A feeling.
A hesitation.
A heaviness you can’t fully explain.
Your body usually knows long before your mind catches up.
Entrepreneurs Override Themselves Constantly
I think founders do this every single day.
We override ourselves to stay safe.
To stay liked.
To stay validated.
To stay needed.
We say yes when we mean no.
We delay conversations we already know we need to have.
We force alignment where there isn’t any.
And eventually…
The noise disconnects us from ourselves.
Alignment Feels Different
One of the biggest things I’ve learned over the last few years:
Alignment usually feels calm.
Not easy.
Not comfortable.
Not risk free.
Calm.
Misalignment feels heavy.
Heavy requires force.
And force eventually creates exhaustion.
I’ve learned that most people aren’t tired because they’re working hard.
They’re tired because they’re fighting themselves internally every single day.
A Simple Exercise
Create two columns:
Heavy.
Light.
Then write down the people, projects, habits, environments and commitments currently in your life.
Don’t overthink it.
Just notice your body’s response.
What feels heavy?
What feels calm?
Your nervous system usually tells the truth long before your mind explains it.
The Highest Form Of Alignment
Deep down…
You probably already know.
You know what conversation needs to happen.
You know what environment is draining you.
You know what chapter is ending.
The signal is already there.
You just keep drowning it out with noise.
Resonance begins the moment you stop abandoning yourself.
And the highest form of alignment…
Is finally trusting yourself.
